Meet Joan Davis
Joan Davis has spent her entire life surrounded by horses – first as a trainer and a competitor – and now as a photographer. A riding accident forced her permanently out of the saddle in 2001. Her photography is her way of staying connected to the sport she loves. Now Joan spends most weekends between May and October capturing the beauty of dressage and the thrill of eventing through her camera lens.
About Flatlandsfoto
At most events, Joan is a solo shooter. Her goal is to capture quality images of each horse and rider on cross-country. When the schedule allows, she will also photograph both dressage and show jumping but her priority is always cross country. Her goal is to have proofs posted to her website by the end of the week after the competition.
Purchasing Your Proof Upload
Joan charges a fee to post competition proofs online. Competitors, you may purchase an individual show proof upload or a season pass which gives you a full season's worth of proofs. Both options allow you to order a complimentary personal use digital image before December 1st of the competition year. All proofs are culled to show only the best images of each competitor. The number of proofs per competitor will vary from competition to competition. If you ever have any questions about a proof upload, feel free to email Joan at Joan@Flatlandsfoto.com.
